Today was Mike Day's birthday (R.I.P.) He would have been turning 21. To ensure that no one will forget him, there was a nice skate session at the St. Catherines skatepark. It was packed there. The only thing that went wrong was when they were sending birthday cards on helium balloons to Mike, the cards were to heavy, and the balloons wouldn't go up, so they had to rip off the cards. Other then that it was a great day.
Coming back, I stopped off at the Niagara Falls skatepark where my buddy Matt was trying to Hardflip the QP. Since I broke my board at the Skate for Mike session, I figured it was a good opportunity to take some pics. Matt got the hardflip a few tried later. Here's the shot.
